Taking its name from the famous Giacometti sculpture, Town Square positions three artists working with an overflowing sense of solitude in community. It is situated in the Crane Artists Lofts community room, and will make use of the patio for grilling, weather permitting.
Rahele Jomepour is an Iranian artist and illustrator working out of Ames, Iowa. Her painting convey simultaneously a boisterous joy and a colorful dystopian abundance.
Richard Kraft is a LA artist whose comic opera, Here Comes Kitty, has received international press in Bomb magazine and Hyperallergic.
Jeff Miller is an artist working between Ames and Illinois. His stark, graphic works investigate the forces of ambition against faceless labor.
This exhibit would not be possible without generous support from the Crane Artist Loft and especially its manager, Angela Heldt.
